Why do some  stocks have a very good rating (1.0 to 1.5) and larger, more well known stocks, have a worse rating?

Because fewer analysts rate them.  In some cases, only one (1) analyst does the rating of small companies.  So beware of low ratings and do your due diligence.

Why do you think that this method of rating stocks superior to others methods?
Its probably not better than all methods.  But w
e let the analysts do all of the heavy lifting and rating of the stocks and then we average the analysts ratings.  Works for us.

Is this method of rating stocks
foolproof?
No.  There is no foolproof method.  Sorry!!!!

Can I get "rich" fast using these ratings?
No.  Unless you get very, very lucky.  These stocks are rated for value as opposed to growth over the long term.

Is RateViewer completed?

No.  We will probably never have it finished !!!!  We have been tinkering with RateViewer and adding features for the past year and we still find things we want included.  AND...every time we add something, it takes more time and $$$ to accomplish.

Why don't you cover the NYSE stocks?

We plan to in the near future.  We are trying to overcome the many duplications of stock listing in the NYSE.

How about Mutual Funds & ETF's?

We are trying but they are also very difficult.

What stock should i buy?

We do not recommend any one stock or any group of stocks.

Is the data in Real Time?

No, since it would take too much time to process all the data during the search the stock data is not pulled in real time.  We do, however, try to update often on all of the stock ratings.

\How often is the data updated ?

We try to keep it fresh but there are over 5,000 stocks and we use 10 different sources for our ratings so it is very difficult to keep totally  current.  However,  all of the stocks are updated many times daily.

Can you add  financial website X to your list?

Submit it to us using the contact form (email) and we will certainly consider adding it.

I want a feature X added to your list of data like "earnings per share"?  Can you do this?

Yes.  Let us know what you would like to see and we might implement it in the near future.

On some of the sources you use, the rating says N/A.   What does that mean?
N/A  (not available) means that the source is either late in giving a rating or the source we use does not rate that particular stock.  In some instances they have changed the placement of their code and we have to co -ordinate our site with their code placement.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can't.  Since it is free to use you are not subscribing.  Just don't use

it !!!!!
